It is believed, the gun was shipped with Both barrels from factory)
It is used, but clean and well taken care of. It certainly appears that it was shot very little.

All numbers on frame, barrels, forend steel match.
Extensive photos of this gun were sent to Remington. The Historian their said he was 99.99% sure this is all a original ½ frame 12g. firearm. Also he stated, he thought, it left the factory with Both barrels, at the same time. Because at the time, they made the two barrels different, because they were for different uses.
Further evidence of that is the Two barrel Mutton case.
He would not divulge the Numbers of ½ frame 12 g’s made, however he said it’s very rare.
Again, further evidence of that is,
How many ½ frame, 12g, Rem/Parkers made have you ever seen,
or even heard of?
Also, (depending on which source you consult),
It is estimated ONLY, 1,000 to 1,200 Parkers,
were made by Remington in Ilion NY
And how many of those, were 1/2 frames?
